The Rockland County Health Department (RCDOH) is promoting its Mosquito Control program’s annual giveaway of mosquito dunks and mosquito-eating fathead minnows. “Mosquito Dunks® can be picked up at the Center for Environmental Health office – 50 Sanatorium Road, Building D, Pomona – (by appointment) for the treatment of closed or unused private swimming pools. They are available from April 1st through October 31st during normal business hours, while supplies last.
The RCDOH plans to have Fathead minnows available for a one day only giveaway in May, 2022. Date is still to be determined.
